Just when we were planning a quiet weekend at home, a co-worker of mine offered up two free tickets to the
Mill Creek Cluster Education Foundation Gala and Auction hosted at
Chateau Elan. We graciosuly accepted and somehow managed to fit a night out at an award-winning winery and resort into our Saturday night. We donned our "after five" attire and had a really fun time! In addition to mingling with some PTA members and administrators from
my school, we ate a fancy meal, and brought home a few things from the silent auction including tickets to a
Gwinnett Gladiators game (?!) and a gift certificate to our favorite antique store (all in the name of supporting my cluster of course).
Thus, Sunday was spent perusing the aisles of The Queen of Hearts finding ways to spend our loot. And a successful trip it was...
Cannot wait to find a use for these awesome hat stands. I love the colors and the different shape of each base!
Finally, a working vintage fan that was under 30 bucks!!
A fantastic old green wine basket to hold our produce (bigger and better than our boring old brown wicker one)!
And we couldn't let Little Abner go home empty handed so a stop at Petsmart was in order where she picked out this festive guy- who by the way packs a big squeak into such a small gourd.
